NRR: How???

NRR: something with Gears and Blaze and all that awesome stuff.

I put my arm around Sparky. Gears sat in the chair nearest to Brooklyn.

I sighed nad opened up another book, something called "The Da Vinci Code".

Brook looked over at Gears but said nothing.

Friction smirked at the 2 couples. She sat near Carson without knowing it and started to lightly flip through a book.

Carson was reading a magazine, entitled "Dirt Biker's Digest". He was unhappy that his fiance died, but happy because she was a nag, anyway.

Gears looked around nervously, ribbing his hands together. "Hi." He nervously said. I picked out a book out of all of them. It was called, 'Call Of The Wild' by some guy named Jack London. I sat next to Sparky and started reading.

"Hey?" said Brooklyn, putting her book down and looking at Gears, "You're Gears, right?"

"Uh huh."
I looked over at Gears, barely able to speak.

"You the heck would love their arch rival?!" Friction muttered, reading a book. She didnt even notice she was being a bit hypocritical. Shoving the book back on the shelf, she sat back down, the chair deflating a bit with her added wieght as she plopped down.

A few canines stared at her.

"What are you staring at?!" she growled. Most looked away. Friction had a vicious rep.

"I'm Brooklyn.." She let out a hand, having an unusual calm appearance about her.

He shook her hand, then proceeded to mutter gibberish to himself.

She looked at him curiously, but said nothing.

"So, umm..." Gears didn't know what to say.

NRR: and quite frankly, neither do I.

"Do you want to..." I whispered to Gears, "Ask her what she likes. Find out what you have in common." "Uh... What do you like to do?"

A few canines, mostly girls, slapped their foreheads.

Brook looked at him strangely, then sighed, "Don't hurt yourself by thrying to ak me questions and getting to know me. I can tell you like me, and it's okay. I kinda like you, too. But right now I gotta go.. long story." She got up and walked out, heading to the training field. She was a new recruit and had to practice.

"Good job, little buddy." I patted him on the back. "I'm not that much shorter than you." "You call three feet not much?"

"Lovebirds and friends at it agian?" Luna smirked from the doorway.

I glared at Luna. But not really angrily.

Luna caught Blaze's glare, smiled innocently and went to get a drink.

Friction got up and sat by Luna, deciding she could use more than her usual one drink tonight.

"This is nicely confusing.." I muttered, now reading the Chronicles of Narnia.
