The Lounge

Friction downed her drink pretty fst, asked for another, and drank this one more slowly, enjoying the buzz that was already starting.

"Yeah... But ine or the other, someone is going to be angry." I sighed, taking a gulp of the beer.

"I won't."
I called from the table, patting the seat across from me with my big blue eyes sparkling.

I smiled at Sparky, then glanced at Friction. With slight speed, I moved to the chair and sat down.

"This is slightly awkward," I muttered, taking another sip.

Friction sat at the bar for awhile, not drinking, just deep in thought, not yet close to drunk

"How's that?" I said, taking a gulp.

"...The treaty situation," I mumbled, pushing my glass to the side.

"Yeah." I said.

Friction would murder me if I told you why.

I thought to her, making sure I blocked it from Fric.

You don't have to tell me.

I thought, making sure the thought was blocked from Friction.

Thank goodness.

I gulped down the rest of the beer.

I asked him, "Want another?" My glass was still half full, I wasn't thirsty.

I nodded. "Sure."

I went over to the bar and got another glass, setting down int he middle of the table. I looked over to see who was singing, which was no one.

I took a swig of the beer. I wasn't anywhere near drunk, but with what had been happening, that was sort of a goal to be.

"I have enough money to last you through the night." I chuckled, watching him gulp it down.

"Good. Odds are that's how long I'll be here."

"Drink as much as you can hold."

I used light to move an entire brew machine over, and poured another glass.

I watched him, leaning back in my chair, playing around with my empty glass(which I had drank; that would be my last for the night.) by using dark. I was bored.

I gulped down another, making 4. I pured yet another.

"How you doing there, big guy?" I asked, a cool, almost seducing tone to it. I set my glass down.

"Mmkay, I s'ppose." I said, starting to sound a little... Odd.

I just shrugged, watching him, still leaning in my chair. I could see some guys in the background, whispering "Chug, chug, chug.."

I swallowed it, and set my tail on fire. They shut up quickly. I just poured another.
