Blaze's Quarters

I decided to fly around, back near Serenade Beach. I took a picture of me and Sparky, smiling. I clutched it and took off with it.

I had a guest room in my cave behind a curtain, so when I finally got to Canine HQ after a long walk, I carefully lowered Sparky into the bed, then I walked out and crawled into my own bed.

I was dreaming of.. flying. Without wings. Just going through the clouds, doing twists and dives. I felt free. It felt a lot like when my uncle would ever-so-often throw me off a cliff, then catch me at he bottom. He never missed. That's what gave me my love of sky diving int he first place.

NRR: Blaze is probably dreaming of Sparky.

I slowly woke up and streched. I got meat out of the refrigorator and put it on my grill.

NRR: all the luxuries... None of the thumbs.

When Sparky woke up, she could have a nice, cooked breakfast for a change. I put my secret ingredient on it

NRR: ground black pepper, he's preparing breakfast like dinner, but he a carnivore, not a cereal and waffleavore.

I let it cook, then got a pair of plates out and set them on a table. I sat and waitied for Sparky to wake up, taking bites of my breakfast.

I woke up slowly, finding myself laying on a bed made of silk, thread, all the stuff fit for royalty. "Oh.. Blaze.. coffin.. good times," I got up and searched for the bathroom, taking a quick shower and the like. Taking out a fresh pair of clothes, I went over to the table and sat down, a grin on my face. Looking over at Blaze, I had to grin, "Thanks. I never get to eat this stuff for a change." I cut up a slice of meat from the heap beside me and ate it.

"You're welcome. You sleep alright?"

"Yeah. I had a nice dream, though I can hardly make it out.."

"That happens a lot. Sometimes they can be downright crazy."

"Mhmm.. so how'd you sleep, bucko?"

"Pretty good." I said, finishing my breakfast.

"Dream well?" I cleaned my dish off, and put it in the sink, scrubbing it til it shined. Throwing it in the air with my right hand, I caught it with my left hand and placed it in the cabinet for the china.

NRR: Pretend his room is like a condo xD

"Mmhmm." I said, washing my dish.

NRR: tay.

"'Bout what?" I asked, leaning in the chair, my canines gleaming as I grinned.

NRR: You don't have to, would just seem royal-ish. If Blaze could be called royalty xD

NRR: ya, he could.

"Well, I dreamed about... Er... You..."

NRR: *shrug*

I tried not to seem surprised or.. weirded out. "Oh, that's cool.."

"Well, what did you expect from someone imrpinted on you?" I said jokingly.

I sighed, "Nothing besides that, of course," I said sarcastically. I put myhead on the table, my arms th eonly thing seperating my muzzle from the wooden floor, "Blaze, I've been thinking.."

"Something wrong?" I said, quickly turning around.

"No, nothin' wrong.. I just.." The words were so hard to pull out, despite only being a few words. Straighening up, I faced Blaze, yellow eyes flushed with determination, "I want to.. join your army. Join your clan.."


NRR: DUN DUN DUUUUNNNNN!

"As a soldier, or..." I hesitated. "... As my mate?"

I gritted my teeth, "Both."

It didn't take much thought. "Ok... Welcome to the Canine Army... I guess."

NRR: THIS will be quite the surprise for Clov and Gav... Blaze and Spark are mates, and Spark is in Canine Army nao.

I smiled, "Thanks, Commander. Now where do I sleep?"

"You don't have to call me that. Unless were in front of other soldiers. And mi casa is su casa."

I sighed, putting my hand on my chin, "Meh, whatever, I'll sleep with the soldiers. I'd like to have a few friends.." I hauled my few belongings over my and stood in the entrace, "Hope you don't mind, I don't wanna feel like royalty." I silently walked out the door, over to, well, an usused cave or whatever someone would share.
