I glided in slowly, scooping up the note. I read it, but there was no signature. Until I looked a bit lower. It said, 'Carson's Official Paper' on it. I smiled and put it in ym pocket. I flipped on my reading light at my desl and started on the treaty.

Friction knocked, lightly but solid.

"Its open."

Friction came in and leaned on a nearby wall.
"Why" her face was blank, but her eyes held something, almost like rage.

I turned to greet her, but she looked angry. "What?"

"Why are you making a treaty?!" One of her hands were clenched tightly, her claws digging into her pads.

"Really, Fric, what?"

"Why are you making a treaty for dogs and cats." her voice had gotten lower into a growl, and her fist was pressing tighter, starting to break skin, yet her face was still expresionless.

"This mindless battling has to end. I know what happend with you and Tree. You can still do whatever you want to him. I read your mind. Light reading is more powerful than regualr reading. Just do what you have to do, but before I finish this treaty. Got it?"

Friction's lips curled into a snarl.
"Stay out of my mind." she growled threateningly. Her tail lashed out with anger and anoyence. She clenched her fist even harder before releasing it, her paw bleeding badly.
"I have things in there that are to myself, not even for my frigen 'leader' to see."
Friction was ready to leap at Blaze if she didnt leave soon. So she turned and started to walk out.

"I was only trying to help..." I sighed, not sure what to do.

"Dont" she muttered loud enough to hear before slamming the door, a small blood mark where her hand was.

I sighed upsettedly. "What the crap am I gonna do now?"

The robot came in and ransaked my cave. "TARGET NOT FOUND. MISSION FAILURE. PROCEEDING TO NEXT POSSIBLE LOCATION." It headed to the lounge.

Bullet knocked the robot over before he left Blaze's quearters. "Dont you know how to wait?"

"BZZT! MALFUNCTIONING!!! Malfunnn..." It powered down.

"Gggrrreeeaaaatttt." Bullet muttered, nudging the robot back on its feet.

Gears ran in and powered down the helmet. "What happened to it!?!?" He said, already wrenching it.

"It fell over."

"And it destroyed Blaze's quarters! We need to get out of here... Now!"

Bullet nodded, heading back to the entrance.
