Re: The Lounge
I smiled, "Gav's having another child? Awesome.." I gently took the note from Friction, grinning. I then showed it to Blaze, "Well, that's suprising. I'm happy for 'em."

Re: The Lounge
I looked over at Carson and grinned. He was dominating the competition.

Re: The Lounge
I smiled and got up, as nobody was playing Carson. So I played him. It was back and forth, absolutley scoreless.

Re: The Lounge
I was slightly surprised, but I really had no idea who to root for. I just watched and smiled, grinned, laughed at some points.

Re: The Lounge
It ended up a tie, two to two. Carson was challenged repeatedly after that, as I had barely been able to hold my own.

"Oliver Twist." I said, puzzled, reading the title of the book.
NRR: I've read that irl. Along with White Fang, War of the Worlds, Call of the Wild, Mutiny Aboard the HMS Bounty, Treasure Island, and Robin Hood among others.

Re: The Lounge
I shrugged, "It's a classic. Odd title, good book."

"I might." I said, closing my eyes briefly. For some reason I didn't want to admit I probably would.

Re: The Lounge
I jsut sighed and kept reading the book, my eyes locked on the words. I could overhear some impatient coyotes whisper to one another, "Eh, what're we doin' 'ere if we ain't fightin' those pesky felines? I think we should 'ttack while we can.." "Yeah.. it doen't make no sense, eh..?"

Re: The Lounge
I whipped around to the coyotes. "You don't know much about war. That's why there are people higher in rank than you."

Re: The Lounge
"There's not an endless supply of soldiers and weapons..." I sighed, wondering how long it would take to construct a new fleet of weapons. Gears ran up to me. "Blaze! Blaze! Got a new invention!" He showed me a picture of a jet. "This baby can fly supersonic with bombs, missles, and a vulcan gun! Each has its own codename. Only the canines with the best reflexes can fly them. You and that canine, Carson, are two of the pilots." He said excitedly, pinting to Carson. "Yours is the Rouge Hawk, his is the Rouge Shadow." "Any particular reason they both begin with 'Rouge?'" "He's on your fighter squadron." "Huh." "You are with Torch, in the Rouge Flame, Gamma, in the Rouge Blade, Friction, in the Rouge Knight," (gasp!) "And Sparky, in the Rouge Phoenix." (double gasp!) He looked past me at Sparky. "I guess you've heard your new occupation?"

Re: The Lounge
I nodded calmly, finally setting down the finished book, "Yes, Gears, I have. Pilot of the Rogue Pheonix in the Rogue Squadron, if not mistaken? I'm glad to be on the job." I stuck out my paw politely for him to shake, getting up and bowing slightly.

Re: The Lounge
He shook her paw and nodded. "That is correct. Come on, you should know the controls of your jets." Gamma and Torch were nearby, so they tagged along. The group went out to the tank area to see the jets.

Re: The Lounge
I followed behind, math and science cauculations of a jet's engines, controls stability and speed flowing throuh my mind. I learned all that I have of them and pushed it to the base of my thinking.
