Twin Trees

"Hey!" Saya called, grabbing Sunlits feet and dumping her back into the water.

Sunlit laughed through the water getting up and jumping again at Saya.

Saya caught Sunlit in midair. "Now what ya going to do hmm?"

Sunlit squirmed, unable to break free.

"Fear me." Saya laughed.

"I'll fear you when the sun grows cold" Sunlit laughed back.

"Well, your name is Sun, cold yet?"

"Ita warm today!" Sunlit laughed, still trying to squirm.

"Crash landing!" Saya laughed, letting go

Sinlit laughed as she landed in the water again. She came up for a quick breath before diving under, grabbing Saya's legs, making her fall.

Saya gave a yell before she went under. She floated on her back, staring at the sky.

Sunlit floated up beaside, her and the gently flowed down the river, the current not that strong.

"Where do you think the river goes?"

"Doesnt it go to the mud pond?"

"Maybe?" Saya said, standing up again. "I dont want to find out though really, i like it here." She laughed.

A roar could be heard some ways off.

"I know that...plane engines. Who has planes?" Saya muttered.

"The Canine Army." Ranger gasped, from running to find them.

Sunlit got up, her hand imediatly going to her leg pouch.

"Weapons of ours wont do anything on a plane Sunlit." I said, getting out of the river and moving towards the tree.

"Im not entirley worried about the planes" she muttered, following.

"If they come close, then i will. But i want to see where they are." Saya replied, climbing the tree. "Cinna!" She yelled. "Can you tell me which way the planes are going?" The kestral nodded and flew off.

Sunlit sat on a huge root, her eyes scanning the area.

Saya stood out on a branch near the top. "I see them." She called down as Cinna came back. "I couldnt get close enough to tell." she sighed.

Sunlit growled under her breath.
