The Meadow

A beautiful meadow. It has no water or trees, only tall grass and shrubs. Yet, it seems to always have flowers in full bloom.

As I found myself in the meadow, taking my sips of water, I tried to remember everything. But I couldn't. It was jsut a giant.. blur. I didn't get it. Where was I? How'd I get here? Why was I in a freakin' COFFIN?! It made no sense to me, so I just layed down, almost curled into a ball, and slept in a patch of lavender.. my favorite flower.

As I flew to Serenade Beach, I had to pass over the meadow. I saw Sparky, clearly alive. My heart flipped with joy. I glided down to her. "Sparky! You're... You're alive!"

I looked over at Blaze, confused, "Oi, who're you? And how do you know my name? I swear I 'aven't seen your face around.." I backed up slowly, my eyes looking straight at his. He was familiar, yes, but at that point I was utterly confused and a bit scared.

((YES, SLIGHT ACCENT NOW, EH? ;D))

"You don't remember?" I said in shock. I looked around, then took the picture I had been holding, and showed it to her. "See? This is you, Sparky, and me, Blaze."

"Yeah, 'eah I know I'm Sparky, I know that part, and now I know your name, but I don't remember you very clearly.. besides your name and appearance. Actually, I don't know anything right now 'bout anyone.." I backed up, a bit more, a bit intimidated by his size and appearance. I really didn't know anything about anyone. Show me a picture of Clov, I would just say, 'Whose she?'

"I'm a Draizch, like you. Winged wolf. Remember? And emm..." I thought a minute on how to explain something. "And... I was, and am, in love with you..." I admitted.

I hesitated for a second, thinking of my options. 1. Run. 2. Run. Or 3. Try to make friend with this guy who I'd never met. I just chose 3. "Uhh.. that's.. nice.. I think?.. But I still can't remember you.." I sighed and put my hand on my chin, looking at him closely. "..."

I sighed. I tried telling her of past adventures, some VERY past. Like when I had first told her I loved her. And I told her about when we had saved Clover, who I explained the appearance of, from a rushing river. I told her about things not-so-past, like when she had succumbed to Aikyan's temptation, and when we were talking in the canine lounge. I told her all I remembered.

NRR: I bet I remember some stuff that YOU forgot irl!

"..."

"Ah.. I remember now..!" I broke into a big grin and hugged Blaze, almost knocking him to the ground. I DID remember everything, and I was happy.

NRR: Maybe >> << >> <<

I smiled. "Glad you're back." I laughed.

I shrugged, "Dunno why I didn't have'eh pulse. I was just in a coma.. hmm.." I thought for a moment, looking up at the clouds. I jsut loved to look at the clouds.

"Yeah, that is weird."

"Hmmm.." I just layed on the grass, looking at the sky.

I smiled and layed down next to her.

I put my arm around his shoulder and just relxed.

"You know what would be funny?"

"What?"

"If none of this was actually happening. Like... If this was a dream or something. But I'm glad it isn't."

"Yeah.. right there, bucko. But dreams usually don't involve zombies." I chuckled.

"Zombie is such a harsh word. And I wouldn't class you as one." I laughed.

I shrugged, "I would. All I need is a carved out brain and scars on my body."

"I don't think so." I sighed. "You're too beautiful to be a zombie."

I shrugged again, "Maybe if I stabbed my chest and legs a couple times.." I laughed at the thought of zombie me.
