Lifeless Forest

Dark and dangerous forest. Most never come in here, and no life truely excits. Those who do come here never stray off a worn down path.

I hovered over the forest for a split second, then landed in a tree, and got lost in my thoughts.

Kiefer was far from where Blaze was at. Shoving both Kasa and Gail to the ground, he snapped his fingers and black, shadow like shackles wrapped around their wrists and ankles.
"Shadow cuffs, built to keep you in one place. It also renders elements useless." He sneared. Driving his dagger into a tree, he watched as countless shadow beings came forth. "Watch them."

Shadow Clover grinned, watching her light half's son struggle to get free.
"Oh the joys of being me" she cackled quitly.

Gail tried to get the cuffs off, trying anyway he could think of.

Kasa was shaking from head to toe. One of the cats back at camp had once told her the story of when her mother was taken over by Shadow Gavina. Kasa's thoughts kept straying to that story.

Shadow Gavina was there. "So these runty things are the offspring of those light beasts the got the best of me?" She growled. "Well lucky for me, the Shadow King was feeling nice and granted me life agian."

Shadow Clover shot a glare at Shadow Gavina.
"I wish he didnt" she muttered, walking over to the kids. She knelt down infront of Gail to look him in the face.
"Wait till Kiefer decides what to do. Your shadow may have the privlage to kill you. Though i would much rather." she told him carelessly, a hint of laughter in her voice.

I sniffed randomly, and caught thw scent of Gail and Kasa, but not Gavina or Clover. That isn't good. I turned toward the scent, and followed it. I stayed behind a tree.

Why do I get he feeling you two are in trouble?

I thought to only them.

Yes, the bad feeling eventually lead me here. I saw all the shadows, except for the one of myself. I absorbed my shadow a long time ago (a feat which could only be done by the gifted), which eventually fused with me, which gave me the odd, dark-blue color pelt, though I was born with a light orange one. The shadows knew my reputation all too well, and had always tried to avoid me. I could abosrb them, too, making me more powerful. Though if I tried that, it would be technical suicide, making me into a monster.

That's why I could control darkness and shadow better han everyone else, since I was technically taking energy from my soul, and converting it into energy and back.

To make a long story short? I'm my own shadow.

I was invisible by the time I was near them. If they saw me, I would give them my "death glare"; a sign I was Sparky, and I would destroy them if I had to. I stayed well behind a bush, watching and waiting.

I came out from behind the tree, my sword in hand. I was ready to attack, my fur glistening white, along with the fire from my sword.

I stayed behind the bushes, staying inviisble and holding my breath.

Gail didnt dare think back. Most of the shadows were aware of Blaze's presence before he came out, since he sent the thought. Shadow Clover looked over at the light Blaze, glaring.

Kiefer growled as he stared coldly at Blaze. Turning to the rest of the Shadows, "Kill them all. I dont care how you do it, just make sure its done!" He shouted before disappearing. The Shadows moved in on Gail and Kasa as well as Blaze.

"...Gail...??" Kasa whimpered.

I kept staying hidden, smirking coldly.

I knew we didn't have a chance. Yet. I growled, and held my sword straight in the sky. Pure light forms of me appeared everywhere. I went to Gail and Kasa, slashing at everyone that came too close. The Blaze army fought off more shadows.

I smiled and nodded at myself, knowing it was time. I took out Blanec, made it form into a pair of deadly "shadow" claws, looking almost like they weren't solid.. actually, the hilt was the only solid part, the rest was a mix of darkness, poison and metal bits from the blade.

As quick as lightning, I slashed through the shadows,, half running half teleporting from place to place, a dark aura following behind me,

"You and your soapy eyes
Called it off so late at night
But your hand's on your heart
Cause your head's always right.."

I sang quietly, grinning.

"Wow." I said, then got back to the situation. "Find Kiefer!" I yelled to my clones, and they split into groups of 5. I eld my sword to the center of the cuffs, trying to cut them, with no avail.

I noticed Kiefer from the corner of my eye. I stopped quickly and glared at him, "Where the **** did you come from?"

"Trust me on this." I whispered to Gail and Kas. I raised the sword high above my head, and split the cuffs. When they were both free, I teleported next to Sparky and watched Kiefer's every move.

I sighed glacing at Blaze before looking back at Kiefer. When I was in war, winning first; staying alive second; even tiny romance.. third.

My eyes became glowing red. I was controlling it. To Sparky alone, I whispered,

He takes one false move, he dies.

Gail hurred over to Kasa to make sure she was alright, sending wood spikes and gusts at any shadow that got close enough.

"Forget waiting!" I said, and charged at Keifer, sword drawn and ready to swing.

NRR: *gasp* He's running with scissors!

And yet, I was tackled to the ground by Shadow Rage. Somehow he was back. I tried to wrestle free of his grasp, and yet, I wasn't as strong as him, naturally. I could feel his hand closing onto my throat, although I viciously fought back. I was like a cat fight.. or a dog fight.

I glanced behind myself, then stopped in my tracks. Keifer, Rage. Keifer, Rage. Which one should I fight?

"I'm fiine.." I muttered under my breath, almost able to push Rage off of me, my breathing heavy and steady.
